You should enjoy telling your partner that you love them and hearing it should make him feel good...sorry his attitude stinks and i think it is a no! no! for you.

reader, anonymous, writes (26 July 2008): It is very difficult to answer with the little information you have submitted; BUT, if he tells you he feel pressured; vow, that is TELLING you somehting; there could be various reasons for him feeling pressured,BUT I suggest you give him a little space; maybe you are expecting "emotionally" more then what is is prepared to give right now; I think you should just "cool" it a little; not withdraw completely but just create is small emotional distance; give him space and room to "need" and "want" more; don't overpower him emotionally, that might scare him and make him feel pressurised.
