 If his not putting his finger in properly then yes it proberly would hurt..its obvious its the first time his done this and doesn't exactly know what his doing..and the only way to correct this is to tell him or guide him ..otherwise its going to be very uncomfortable and your not getting any pleasure from it ..although you may feel embarrassed actually telling him and it might make him feel bad its best to guide his hand...as his hand goes down between your legs and he enters his finger in, just take his finger and guide it in properly until you feel comfortable hel soon pick up that his doing it wrong and get the right idea.

Also, you've got to let him know where things are (and how to find them) as he obviously needs help. Good communication is a big part of success. Also, please make sure you do not permit your lover to hurt you (for any reason) again. Tell him to stop when you feel pain (and mean it). One more thing: some men live to investigate the "lower" hole. You might well ask him if this was his intention all along (just to get things cleared up). And, if it was, get yourself a latex glove or two and see if he'll submit to the same technique.
