When do friends become something else?

A female age 51-59, anonymous writes:

my bf said he has no male friends he only has a female friend he see every day cause they work in the same place and if we are in a discussion and she come into the his line of site he then wont let me finish telling him my news he will focus all his attention to her and go on to tell me about how they both like and been to the same countries(our holidays) and have the same like in place in the world they both enjoy historical places and so i find my self not finishing my conversation and then we dont talk properly until i have to force him into a conversation with me. but when i ask him if he likes her he just saids we are very good friends and said she doesnt like men or does she and he tring to cover something up?cause i though i was his best friend. so whats the go!!!
