the midwife will take it from the 1st day of your last menstrual cycle, 1st November, you can only see the midwife at 9 weeks for her to take all your details family history and bloods then on your 12 week you go for a dating scan and they measure the baby i went for mine and i was only 9 weeks this is because i have irregular periods and also was on the pill so it mucked up my cycle so i now am going back for my actual 12 week scan.
this is my first baby pretty scary but the midwife and ultrasound lady are lovely they see new mums all the time so dont worry and go with the flow.
good luck x

Assuming your cycle is regular and you have periods each month, you could have conceived on any of those dates as that would have been the mid-cycle time when ovulation is possible. Unprotected sex in the days around the time when you release an egg can cause pregnancy to occur. Sperm can wait around for a few days for the egg to turn up. When women are trying for a baby then there are various strategies they use to chart their precise ovulation time - they look for a change in body temperature, get urine-ovulation tests or self-examine for bodily signs. This is necessary because all women are different in terms of when they ovulate. On average it is 14 days into your cycle (day 1 being the first day of your period), but there is wide variation in this average rate. If you are trying to find out because you had sex with different partners on different dates, there are other ways to identify the father. You have to wait until the baby is born and have a DNA test. If you are keeping the baby, start taking folic acid now and see your GP to be booked for antenatal care.
