I'm not here to fetish-shame and I understand that different people are into different things...but the word "stepmom" or "stepsister" is literally in a majority of the "most viewed" titles that I see on popular sites. I do have a step-mom and step-family on her side, which may be part of the reason this bothers me a bit. I've never had a stepdad or stepbrothers, but many girls do and it kind of weirds me out that so many people seem to be into this kind of fantasy? I'm curious to know your thoughts, especially from men...is this really a popular fantasy? Have you ever been sexually attracted to a step-parent or step-sibling? (I am assuming here that you never acted on those feelings...but I understand that thoughts and feelings are harder to control than actions are). Thanks!

I think I like it because it is easily possible, and sort of a forbidden fruit as well. And it is a fine line between good and evil which turns me on. It's not about step. It's about actual mothers and sisters. In many places it is very a very serious offense to portray incest. So, stepmother and stepsister is as close as the maker can legally get to rhe actual fantasy.
Incest fantasies are found among those who have not received Baptism. It is nonexistent in Catholic families, becAuse Baptism is received by babies. But I know a family (high-school friends) where the dad remarried. The man's daughter and the new mom's son were at it every day.
Something to think about before remarriage.

 It's the taboo about the "forbidden fruit" that many people dig.
Since mother/son or brother/sister kind would be rather eww, they go for the "next best thing" the "steps". Taboo and kink and fetishes sell. Porn is a HUGE industry, they want to cover all the options to make money.
I'd compare porn to soda or cereal for minute (not to make porn out to be harmless or great but as a item that is SOLD for consumption). Why do we have a bunch of different flavor sodas? Think coke... Vanilla coke, cherry coke, this and that coke. Because it sells. And people like different things but not TOO different. Yea?
As for your question to personal experience? I don't have any steps in my life. My parents were married for 47 years. So I can't speak from a personal view here.
Biologically speaking though, a step is a viable mate. More viable that a blood relative. So maybe basic reproductive instincts play a role too? Other than JUST it being "forbidden fruit".
