reader, anonymous, writes (6 July 2008): I meet my boyfriend on a dating website. We exchanged emails then started talking on aim then on the phone. Just ask when she would like to have a date with you. It is unlikely that she is on a dating website but does not want to go out on a date... She will say yes. Just meet in a public place with a lot of people around incase she is not who she says she is. You just gradually get from messages to getting the phone number etc. You eventually start talking more and in depth. Don't let people tell you not to date online either. It can and does work out for many people just be smart about it. Good luck and hope your date goes well.

she may not be who she says she is.
just stay with people you know because how do you know its a woman.
maybe its a man or a group of men or women who are not who they say they are.
take my advise and take a friend or parent with you.
