Our breakup wasn't tough or dramatic, we just sorta agreed on it (at the time I kinda wanted to break up as well as him). But I'd say less then a week after it happened I realized I really wanted to be with him. So I started sending him e-mails, letters, texts, etc. telling him how much I love him and want him back. I've stopped though because I read that is a bad thing to do if you want your ex boyfriend back.We haven't seen each other since the end of may and won't see each other until the beginning of August because I have gone home for the summer. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing for trying to get him back.We have remained friends. He usually will answer my IMs, texts, etc... And many times he'll even start a conversation with me and he does tell me he misses me and stuff like that but doesn't really want to get back together.... I'm kinda unsure if he still wants me or doesn't and if he doesn't how to get him back. I'd appreciate the help. Thanks

 the best way is talking him and telling him u miss him.and u miss how things used to be just be honest and tell him that u really didnt know wat was going on when u guys ended things and just talk and say things from the heart good luck

Invite him some place with just you two talk like normal friends and talk about the old days when you did go out. So he will relise how much he loves and misses you. This ya girl, peace.
