A male age 36-40, anonymous writes:

There is this women at work who is probably 15 years older me but she is kind of sexy. I only see her about once a month but due to work we send emails every day. What is the best way to start flirting with her or let her know I am interested? Every time I write something and i re-read it it just sounds creepy so as of now I have kept it strictly business. What is the best way to break the ice in email.

A female reader, Emilysanswers United Kingdom +, writes (31 August 2009):

You just have to slip something really small in there.

"It'll be great to see you again!" is something you could say to your mum so hardly creepy.

Then next time you see her, pay her a compliment. Notice details like if she's done her hair up differently, or just tell her she looks amazing.

Then follow up with a bit of real life flirting and then you can expand in emails and ask her out to dinner.

Good Luck!! xx
