writes:I am talking to a guy i met online a few weeks ago (about 3 weeks) and he seems really nice, and it seems like we have many things in common. He has told me he thinks i am really pretty and asked when he can start taking me on dates and we joke around but he hasnt yet asked me out..... :( .....i ve given him a few hints saying it would be nice to hang out and he agrees but doesnt try to make plans. Why isnt this guy making more of an effort if he really is interested and attracted to me? I would LOVE a male perspective as well as female. thanks :)

I know that my ex husband would flirt and say to women he wanted to take them out but he never could because how could he explain to his wife that he had a date????

Why aren't YOU making more of an effort if you really are interested in him? Women are allowed to ask men on dates too, he's probably shy. If you want to date him, ask him out! It sounds like there's fairly little doubt he'll say no.
