what does it mean when a guy says he thinks about you randomly during the day and cant seem to stop? i was told this by someone im not (yet) dating and dont know that we will, we are sort of just slowly getting to know each other. what do i say or think about this? and, is it a good or bad thing that he gets jealous over other guys, though we're supposed to just be casual? im sorry i just dont know what to say to him.

It may mean that he's an obsessive person who is definately not to be trusted. These may turn into stalkers, or even killers.

A female reader, anonymous, writes (7 November 2006):

Who is this guy? Are you in school and is he a fellow school mate, or are you and he both out at work? How did you meet?

You don't know what his interest in you is. Whether he's mainly thinking sexy thoughts or whether he enjoys talking with you, or both. Do you find him attractive on a physical level, and/or interesting to talk to? Fun to be with?

Maybe the best thing right now is to continue getting to know him - perhaps go out for coffee, or have lunch together and see where the conversation goes. I wouldn't, at this stage, make a big deal to yourself or to him, about what to think about his interest, or what to say to him about it. You don't have enough information. But as you get to know one another better, the picture will begin to emerge.

Good luck!
