He talks and dresses pretty gay although the other guys are hoodwinked..anyway after class he accepted my invitation to go out for drinks with me btw im bi..he did mild flirting and would smile at me..I would smile back then he said are you gay like it was a prob i said no and he said ok i asked if he was he said hes just metro..Then he continues texting me late at night, and one day i make a sexual joke and he ignores me then the next day he texts me at 1 am to meat before class i gladly accpet, and he asks me if im gay again when we meat..i didnt answer then i text him later that day tell him im bi, and he tells another kid in class and they both have ignored me for the past two days..wth is going on? btw hes always braging about how his gay tutor crushes on him also..How should i react to this, and what is going through his mind that is causing this? Im really crushed, because we were building a nice friendship..:(((

reader, anonymous, writes (12 August 2009): Hm... it could be two things, as I see it: a) he's straight and just dresses 'gay' or is effeminate or b) maybe he is in denial and/or embarrased about his sexuality. Maybe he is gay (and that's why he pushes the subject so much), but he is afraid as to how people will perceive him? I don't know, it's just a guess.

Don't sweat it - you'll meat a lot of rude people in the world. YOu can't agonzy over everyone that comes in your path. I used to worry all the time now I don't. It's to much hassle - it is the guys problem not yours. if he is readly able to turn his back on you. Not a friend to begin with. Forget him.
