What's a good solution to my sadness that we're not together now? I'm really confused and I may have given him the wrong impression.

im really confused.

My ex boyfriend and I went out for about two and half months, but we've liked each other for about six months.

we didn't kiss or anything, but i still liked him sooo much.

he gave me a necklace for christmas (well he gave it to me in late january) a very nice expensive one and i loved it.

about a week after he gave it to me i asked him why? Were going out? Like we havent kissed or anything ? i didn't mean for it to sound mean. Nor did I want it to seem like i didn't like him ..

But he thought i was dumping him.

we both said we wanted to stay together, but he said maybe we should just be friends and that it's up to me.

so we aren't going out anymore.

but i miss him soo much, i dont feel the same at all. i keep wishing he would say that we should get back together, but i know it won't happen.

i dont know if i should tell him i still like him, i'm not very good at that kind of stuff. i like to keep my emotions to myself.

i told him that i'd give him the necklace back..

i really just want to see him again.

we've been broken up only like six days but i cant stop thinking about him. everything reminds me of him. i didnt realize that i liked him so much until we broke up.

i really dont know what to do.. some advice please?

If you want him back, you will have to talk to him. Do your best, specially because you feel that your words were misunderstood. Let him know that you like him for more than a friendship.
