Last week I organised a day to go over and collect my stuff after I finish work which was not particularly convenient for me. I had been up since five in the morning and had done a twelve hour shift. As I was driving to hers she sent me a text stating that her new partner was at her house. I replied and said that I would not go in while he was there, she called me and agreed that he would leave while I collected my stuff. I feel that this was totally inappropriate of her and wondered what people thought and if they themselves have had similar experiences.

As long as you got your property then just put it behind you. Sounds like she has moved on and so must you. Keep your chin up, Buddy.

sick_of_ex is verified as being by the original poster of the questionI'll tell you why it was inappropriate, I had organised this earlier in the week and she knew I was coming over. Her new partner does not live with her so I think it is inappropriate that she invited him over knowing that I was coming to collect my stuff. Plus she only bothered to send me a text when I was just around the corner.

Why was it inappropriate? She just did what you said so you could get your stuff. What did you expect?
