There was a scene where the guy was high and his girlfriend didn't even notice so I commented that she was not a very good girlfriend to not notice the change in her boyfriend's behavior. He then said to me, "fine I'll get high and see if YOU notice." In context it sounded like he was calling me his girlfriend .. or was it just a meaningless statement?

First of all thank you for taking the time to give feedback, I really appreciate it.
Although I'd love to believe Guillaume and Emilysanswers, I feel like Mr. Me, Denny and Anonymous Female have a point. However, I feel like I will capatilize on his comment. It will give me the opening I've been waiting for.
Thank you all so much!

Most people can't really tell if someone is high and there are loads of people even in corporate america that show up to work on something. He was challenging you in that sense basically saying that you may think you'd be able to tell but you probably wouldn't.

I think I'm going to disagree with everyone by saying that there is no double entendre here. To me, I think he was just challenging you to whether you could really be able to tell or not. However, that doesn't mean you can't capitalize on the comment, as Denny stated.

Sounds like a flirty but off the cuff comment to me.
If you want to be his girlfriend then kiss him and see what happens.
Good Luck!! xx
