reader, anonymous, writes (13 April 2009): I think that somewhere inside.. you know the right answer. Have a little depth in your decision making process, meaning don't place too much emphasis on his "look." It's simple and obvious.. would you rather be around someone who makes you feel like a total ditze and maybe even a little insecure, or would you rather be around someone who makes you feel like yourself and like that's all you need to be? If he's still messing around with his ex, then i guess you can just wait for him to finish, or come clean about your feelings for him and if he's on the same page, then he'll probably stop, but as of now, he doesn't really have a reason to.
