The thing is, it's in London, which is about 2 hours away by train from where i live, so would i be best going staying in a hotel for a couple of days while i have the interview ?. My friend lives in a hostel and i may be able to stay there too. Does anyone know what they usually ask at these kind of interviews, and can you offer any advice on what i could say to them ?. The agency is Zara Management, has anyone here heard of them ?. I am qualified in Performing Arts, which i told them in the email, and i sent them a couple of photos of myself. I also have a friend who is a photographer who could take some more photos if needed. I studied Performing Arts at college and i was in some local theatre groups when i was younger so do you think i'll be in with a chance ?. They said no experience was necessary though. I wouldn't want to travel all the way to London and find that they aren't genuine, but they did say that there are no fees to join the agency, and i know that when they say there are fees, that's when it isn't genuine.I'm also wondering if they will ask me to do a reading. I don't have a black and white profile headshot yet, do you know where i could have one taken ?. And would it cost a lot ?.And do you think it would matter if i made the appointment for the interview for a few weeks time ?. If i need more photos before i go and have to make plans to get to London i'll need some more time.Thanks.

I shouldn't think to will be too strenuous.
They are already interested as THEY invited YOU. One thing you WILL need is a good-quality, proper sized, black and white profile head-shot.
If you don't have one of these an agent won't even look at you. And it has to be the industry standard size or else it appears you are not willing to make even THAT effort.
You have as much chance as anyone does. And having studied and obviously performed infront of a live audience of your peers, you are already past the first step.
Just be yourself, be polite, well-spoken, and try not to be shy. You must have done auditions by now, and found a way to get over nervousness during them... so treat it like that.
I myself am applying for an agent. I simply need portfolio photographs. I have a cousin who can do them (she does have a real gift for photography) but I'll have to wait a week or two. Alternatively I can get them done much sooner of I hire someone.
Unlike yourself I never studied acting... I've just been performing from a young age. First ballet, then Circus, then doing back-stage lighting and sound work, and finally back to performing. Mostly in musicals and plays. I found I have gotten great reviews for my acting... though I;ve yet to be nominated for an award for them.
Just keep chipping away at it. You miss this one... go to another one. And than another. Until you succeed. Its how you get into shows.
