Like "aunt honesty" said, if you have a particular person in mind then this is a personal thing you generally do for personal reasons. On the other hand, perhaps you are just curious about others' selections, and the reasons behind them.
I think you double-posted your question to "I want to dedicate a song to a loved one! What song would you choose?" at http://www.dearcupid.org/question/i-want-to-dedicate-a-song-to-a.html . That is usually discouraged, because it forks the chain-of-thought in the replies. Since several readers have given thoughtful replies in that other thread, it would be a good idea to collect further responses THERE, rather than here.

 If you are wanting to dedicate a song to someone then you need to do this on your own and not with the help of others, you can look on the internet at lyrics and see which ones would describe your relationship best.
