I was thinking about getting him a football with different messages on it, like "I love you" or "MP + MF forever", stuff like that. I just wanted to know if you like that idea, or if I should get him something else or something on top of that? Any response if welcome. Reply to this Question Share |

I would not get anything that says xx and xx forever... or even "I love you" since then he can't really use it and most guys are not big on keeping things on the shelf for display....
I suck at giving gifts... if he has a particular band he likes a tee shirt or something that reflects that might be good. And the card of course can be a mushy as you like...

You've thought of a few interesting and meaningful ideas. But take another moment to think... "What do my boyfriend like and will most certainly appreciate?" Is it particular games, music (which you can either make him a CD or get one of his favorite singer or band), clothes, or phone (he may appreciate the upgrade)? He may also appreciate the fact that you're spending time with him on his birthday- so something as simple as a day out together, going to the movies,or being treated to dinner may go a long way. You know your boyfriend, obviously, and us agony uncles and aunts do not. So the answers you receive may be a little generic. It's up to you to decide what you feel may be the right gift for your boyfriend. If you're still unsure, trying asking his friends, mom, dad, or siblings for their opinion. They would know him the best- and may provide you with more ideas on what to give him for his birthday.Best wishes!
