A female United States age 51-59, *esentful writes:

My ex boyfriend cheated on me with 2 other women (unprotected).i stupidly forgave him cause it was with his ex and his roomate and he was drunk.. then he lied bt his father dying!!! to get $ from me cause he was expecting a inheritance..such bad morals..lied to my parents.A friend also sold him a car that he stop making personal payments on... we were together 2 years.. i moved out of my parents and got my own apartment to live with him.. he lived with me for the last 4 months of our relationship then i kicked him out cause he never had any ambition to get a job or help pay for anything. I trying remaining friends

(no sex) after to get the $ he owed me and my friend but he was a terrible friend also he needed $400 to get out of a dui warrant. i drove the $ to pay the placed directly cause hes a lier. he made plans and never text or called to cancel so i dumped him as a friend. i know im never going to get the $ but he met a new girlfriend after 3 months of me kicking him out. after 6 months of dating shes 2 months pregnant!! he told me and i verified its true. thank god it wasnt me he wanted me pregnant but i used pills cause i told him i wanted us to be financially stable first.so we could provide for the baby. he cant even afford $5 for toll bridge or gas. anyway im happy hes out of my life, but he is coming to my work when im not there ( at a casino)gambling during the day. when people work 9am-2pm.3 to 4 days a week. so hes still not working .I run into him at my job when im off .my friend is at the casino in the day when hes there gambling. And my ex ignores him.. its insulting and makes me resentful that he comes to my work gambling with $ he owes me and my friend. when he lives closer to other casinos. He sees me and just nods or we dont talk i act normal dont say hi dont ignore him either. he tells my friends it didnt work out and hes expecting a baby. i bad mouth him to my coworkers cause i dont want him to feel welcome .And them to buy him drinks or be friendly with him.Why does he gamble at my wk? should i say something and tell him whats over is over were not friends or anything to each other but to be civil with him he needs to pay us or not play at my wk? or just cut my loses and not care? i have so much resentment i feel like hes rubbing it in my face that hes can still gamble at my wk and not honor his debts. id rather him not do it at my job....

If you can prove that you have any kind of an agreement take him to small claims court. It's cheap and he'll probably find the pain of going, well a pain. Or he doesn't show up and you get a default judgment that you may never be able to claim.

Mentally and emotionally you need to write off this debt as "the tuition of life"- you paid to learn. Do NOT ever loan money to "freinds" again. If you MUST, get it in writting. Your loanding $X, for this period of time and the payment will be $Y, to be paid on the first of every month.

Common sense needs to be applied as well- these people don't have money because they are irresponsible, their family will not "loan" them money because they've been there / done that... and they know that this person is a no good sack of shit. Your mistake was you trusted him... learn from this.... NEVER "loan" money to "freinds"
