Well, my ex boyfriend tells me he still loves me and then ask's me how i feel, i just say, dno. The truth is i still love him loads.

But i dont no wether to tell him that because then he might think i wont to get back with him, or there could be some chance of us getting back together. And there is no chance of us getting back together because of what happend.

I dont wont to get his hopes up that there might be a chance for us and then crushing him because there isnt going to be a chance.

A reader, anonymous, writes (22 September 2008):

Dear Poster

Honesty is always the best policy; I think you are being very considerate and he is very fortunate to have you as a friend.

I suggest you talk to him and explain to him how you feel as you have put it in your posting; tell him that you don't want to give him false hope that there cannot be a relationship between you but you will be his friend.

I am sure he will respect you even more for being honest with him.

Best wishes and keep SMILING.
