You are one.
It's not the bad boy image, it's the masculine image.
Tuff, sturdy, strong, capable, protective, powerful, leader, team player, ambitious, aggressive.
Some women will look for a passive man to walk all over.
Watch "A street car named desire" He's ruthless, but the bad boy sexual tension pours off him. This is attractive not because he is abusive, but because he has conviction and confidence. His shirts are ripped, torn, sweaty. Yet, he's a lady magnet. You need to step up your game and find an identity. If your relying on smarts and collared shirts you need to find your character your charm and your inner masculine, the sweaty one.

Bastards have many attractive qualities that women like, even if they don't like being treated badly. They are masculine, assertive, and often successful in life.
As everyone knows, life is not fair. That means guys who don't play fair are more likely to win. Most women are more attracted to winners than losers with very high morals.

 Why on earth do you need to worry why girls are with guys with whom they are...better focus on yourself..everyone has the right to choose their partner..if one is happy with a bastard that's it..it does not call for a debate..you will definitely find a girl who likes average looking guys wearing collared shirts..all the best

 I don't think there is a golden rule that girls like bastards.
However, I HAVE met quite a few bastards in my life, some of my best male friends were in that category and they no problem getting girls interested in them. Why? Because they were also funny and very charming.
If the girls you are interested in seem to only go for the JERKS/Bastards, then maybe you are looking at the wrong girls.
The whole "good guys finish last" is a myth in my opinion.

 You know what? I'm an educated and stunning woman who has the body of a glamour model. Yet, it seems guys go for the fake boobs, fake blonde, fake tan girls! What makes guys want total fakes?
Right back at ya.
Truth is: they don't. Neither boys or girls. You're just focusing on what you see, and the fake boobed bimbo gets a lot of attention, same does the stupid jerk guy. They put on a show, so we see them and notice them easily. But never the less, there are several hookups going on that are LESS noticeable, but ever as present.
Girls don't go for the dumbass jerk any more than guys go for the dumbass bitch.

They lack respect for others.
And they are not even half as classy as they think they are.
