(injury related) Although I opted to have taxes took out of stock money I was unaware that they didnt take state tax out as they did federal tax. Instead of my spouse filing jointly as usual he files seperatly so he will not have to pay 'my' taxes. I have always been the bread winner in our marriage, he works now only because I cannot. Does this seem fair to you? He always kept the tax return money, in our 10 yrs. of marriage he gave me 1200.00 one year one time.I know the ol saying 'a man will treat you as bad as you let him' but do I have any legal rights in this situation?
