I'm thirteen years old and when I take my pants off at the end of the day, there's this thick yellowy-white stuff that's dried in my pants. This may sound normal to you, but sometimes it's got little bits of black fluff in it! Please help. What is this stuff? Why is it there? How can I stop it? Is it natural? Is it someting to do with my period, which I haven't started yet? Is it an infection? Does anyone else get this? When will it go?

hi , i had the same yellowy discharge in my pant when i was your age around the time i started my periods (sometimes even green!) but with black fluff bits nall , and seemed to be loads of it! i was scared , imbararesed n all that but it stoped when i was 15 when i went on the pill , (i went on the pill to regulate my frequent periods not as birth control) so i counldt say if it was puberty or or the pill that stopped it but i do know that after having had every test under the sun having been pregnant twice that ther was nothing seriously wrong with me,
hope this helps x

It is completely natural, and its there to clear away any dead cells inside your vagina. It will happen nearly every day, more when you reach the middle of you menstrual cycle, (your periods when they start,) It won't be the only thing happening either, but don't worry, if you have any other problems talk to your friends or female family members every female has it! Don't worry! xxx
