This pain may last a couple of days and then it wont come back till weeks later, sometimes even a couple of months. However about a week and a half ago the pain came and i also got very itchy around the area of my clitoris. Today i noticed some blood on my underwear and i looked near my clitoris and there was what seemed to look liek a cut. Not a sore or anything, but a cut. Kinda weird. Mybae it was from me scratching that area? I dont knwo. Any ideas as ot whats happened? anyone had something similar?I havea doctors appointment next week...but im geting anxious waiting. so any ideas now would help me relax a bit. thanks. p.s. i have had sex before. i havent actually had unprotected sex, but i have had my bf's penis touch the outside of my vagina area.

I saw my doctor and she said she didnt think it was likely that it was an STD. She said it was probably a reaction to the soap I was using. So she suggested I only wash with water in that area.
She also did a test for chlymidia just in case. Im waiting on the results still.
But Ive stoped using soap and the irritating and pain has alreayd gone away! and the cut has healed. so that was probably it, hopefully...

I can understand your concern and with reason. I don't want to speculate about what might be wrong BUT I am very happy to hear that you have an appointment with your doctor. That is the best; get professional help.
I do agree that the bleeding might be from you scratching yourself.
It might be that you were using a certain soap or chemical product that your skin is sensitive to, the genital area is very sensitive so try and use a very mild soap or avoid soap for the time being and use water only.
Do remember that heat and anxiety are apt to make itching worse;try to avoid scratching.
To relief the itching you could ask your your pharmacist for one or two antihistamine tablets, (but do remember they can cause drowsiness) or you ask him for a hydrocortisone cream (which is available without a prescription. Or ask him what he recommends you can use to relief the ictching for the time being.
HOWEVER, herewith a link with lots of info and symptoms on the various STD'S. I suggest you read through them and compare your symptoms to see if there is any resemblance.

For now, you need to try and relax; no matter what it maybe, your doctor will prescribe the correct medication and treatment and the sooner you can see him the better; because then you will have peace of mind and he will prescribe the correct treatment to give you relief.
Hope this is of assistance.
Keep us posted; hope all will go well for you.
Good luck and try to keep SMILING.

This sounds like thrush, Have a read up about it on the internet :) If it is, its easially cureable, and symptioms die down within a couple of days from starting treatment.
Good luck at your doctors appointment :)
