hello I feel quite embarrassed asking this question and I understand that you aunts are not doctors but I would like some advice. Well... just above my clit there is this small lump and I know it isn't a spot, I do shave and haven't yet come across an ingrown hair and I'm not sure what they look like, this lump isn't sore at all it has turned red and sort of shiny on the top, I am quite worried and not sure what it is, do any of you know?? am I over reacting?? or is it just an ingrown hair??

any advise would be greatly appreciated thanks xxx

ArmyMedic agony auntAny lumps ,bumps or anything out of the ordinary MUST be checked out by a Doctor as we can't tell you what it is, even if we took a full history and saw the spot, how many dermatologists are on Dear Cupid?

Also please DON'T put " cortisone cream" on it as that is a steriod cream that can be sensative in that region!

Jmo agony auntI wouldn't worry about it. Put some cortisone on it. If that doesn't work, sit in a salt bath for a bit. If that doesn't work, go to a doctor or clinic.

its most likely nothing but the only way to say for sure is to go to your doctor. You can show it to your mom, or just tell her that youre more comfortable discussing it with the doctor, and ask her to take you to the doc!
