So a week ago my friend Nick helped me ask for his number, he seemed to be a little bit happy about this and he knew i was the one who wanted his number. And he acutally said 'remember the number' to my friend at last. So yesterday,i finally texted him and said 'hi im .......(my name) and i think you may know me?' But the thing is he hasn't replied me for more than one day! I didn't go to school today because i felt sooo awkward. My friend K who is my closest friend told me that my crush was acutally staring at her today. I mean, if he doesn't ever care about my message, then why would he stare at my friend today? What the hell he is thinking?

Never stop living your life because of a boy.
NEVER skip school because of it.
Texting is a stupid way to have a relationship. for all you know he never got the text... texts are cheap because of the easy free way they piggyback on other packets being sent on the network and as such are not very secure.
You can't actually even ask him if he got the text and he probably did... but I can tell you that my cell phone while on... and making outgoing calls was NOT getting incoming stuff... I did a reboot and 75 text messages rolled in...some from three days before... OY....
If he's staring at your friend maybe he likes her now...

Don't txt him, go to school and be friendly too him but play it cool and if he's interested in you he'll get in touch. If he doesnt then at least all you did is send one text and not made a fool of yourself so will have nothing to be embarrassed about.

Don't stay home from school over that.
Just go to school and pretend all is well, either he will talk to you or he won't. If he doesn't then let it go. I think it was bold of you to get his number and text him, hopefully he will get back to you if he is interested.
