She broke it off, but he never told her and never said anything about all the parties he goes to without her (when they were dating for the mere 2 months) where people were naked. He seems romantic, but he also seems like a jerk who always wants sex.What are general characteristics of a player?

 I think you are being a little mean about your friend calling him a jerk just because he likes sex... You can probably call him a player. But I have known guys like him and they are actually very cool and I prefer being with guy who is experienced and isnt a total idiot and doesnt have a clue. A lot of those guys can be jerks too, which is why they cant get sex like your player friend. Creepy guys can be the real biggest jerks of all.
Another thing...there are a few girls that are players too, by the same definition. Does that make them jerks?
All I am saying is that him being a jerk is separate from being a player or liking sex. I like sex too..are you calling me a jerk?
