reader, anonymous, writes (12 October 2007): Not sure for Ontario, but my then girlfriend (age 14) went to a clinic and received birth control pills without the parents knowing. However, please know that if you are going to have sex at any age, birth control pills are not a sure way of stopping sperm from penetrating and fertilizing the female's egg. It's just a preventive measure.
