Such as singers, drummers, guitarists those sort of people who I used to hear on television shows people saying about how musicians are irresistible and that you shouldn't date a musician ever! That sort of stuff that i never understood and thought was stupid.....Then last week i went out with a big group of friends for her birthday at this place where all these musicians hang out at and i found them to be really interesting people and even though some of them weren't good looking, because they were musicians or singers i found them attractive.. How that was possible confused me!? But that meant the ones that were attractive, looked incredibly hott!!Anyways, it's like they have this edge or this aura about them that i don't know what that 'something' is, but they've got it and now i can't get enough of!? Why is that, what is about them that makes me like this and why is it that people say not to get involved with one..... Reply to this Question Share |

Reminds me of that old movie - Jack Lemmon, Tony Curits and Marilyn Monroe - where the sexiest movie actress in history says, on more than one occassion that she can't resist musicians :) They're creative, they're glamorous, they are often charming.
Mind you I could never ever understand the mentality of a rock band groupie. But musicians in general - one can understand the attraction y'know.

I meant it's not about the ability to play music, of course ;)

Take a look at the guy who plays flute in the orchestra. Does he look sexy too?
Didn't think so. Then, we know for sure it's about about the ability to play music or read notes.
You're on the right line of thinking when you say they have an aura. Musicians (the right kind, not ones who play in the orchestra.. or flute) are often eccentric people, filled with charisma. Often is the keyword though, I've met men who are in bands but who are shy and don't make much of themselves. In those cases, it is the romantic side about it I think we are attracted to. The idea of him writing us love songs and singing serenades with you on the balcony. It's a romantic idea.
Then there's the image. They're cool. They're trendy. They draw a crowd, every woman flocks around them, they give the appearance of being alpha males. That is attractive, just like an important politician, or a man with lots of money, would be attractive.
This all leads me to men in uniforms. They are strangely attractive as well, right? Same idea, we associate them with qualities we look for in a man: strong, independent, a leader, someone in command, an alpha male.

maybe its the air of confidence they have and the fact that they are up on stage performing sets them apart from the regular guys in the world who are just happy to be part of the audience. people will advise you to not get involved with someone in a band coz just as you have noticed this 'something about them' other girls will notice it too and that means you will have lots of competition!
