 Your family doctor will probably just want to check your eyes and heart and lungs and immunizations and stuff, unless you tell him you are having a problem "down there" or that you are sexually active.
So I wouldn't worry about it. If he or she does happen to ask you about perfoming a pelvic exam, you can just say no thanks, I would rather schedule those kind of examines with an OB-GYN when I am ready. No one, not even your doctor has the right to pressure you if you don't want to.
You always have the right to say no, to anyone.
