writes:dear readers, i would like to know what you people out there consider a minor? i.e a lot of the questions that are asked on here are not answered but people because they say you are a minor. but what age is really conssidered a minor? i know 15 is minor, but is 16? 17? 18? when does it stop?the people that right questions on here dont want to be old they are minors by older people, they want the help they signed up for this site for.i know its right to say i think your too young for sex, or no you shouldnt smoke because it will ruin yuor life but about other things?its up to you to decide if you want to answer the question or not and im sure most people would appreciate it not to be told they are immature or to young for everything they ask.so what do people consider young for the majority of things? i.e sex? sexting? oral? masturbating?what is a minor?

 The age of consent is different in many places, it depends on where you are. For example, in New York the legal age is 18. In other states it's 16. Depending on where you live, anyone below that age is considered a minor.

 Yep, it's a legal thing and each state, country is different. It's interesting that nature tells us that adulthood begins much sooner than we are sociologically capable of.
Personally, if a girl is past puberty then I would not consider sex a violation of nature and thus not amoral. But, of course, it's prison time if she is under the legal age.

 What is considered to be a minor is dependent on the law in that country/state. The age varies with what type of activity we are talking about. Typically there will be an age limit on these things: sex, alcohol, gambling, driving, voting etc.
A "minor" is not a word we just throw out. Who's a minor in each case is decided by law in your country. It'd not dependent of what each and every individual thinks. If you want to change the age of what's considered minor and adult you need to go to the politicians and work your way through the system of politics and law.
Being a minor does not mean you are immature. Being a minor means that by law you are not allowed to do this or that. Same as by law you are not allowed to steal or do drugs, by law a minor is not allowed to have sex, smoke, drink, drive, vote etc.
