writes: I am a 30 year old woman who lives in England. I have met a guy who I clicked with straightaway; he is a real gentleman, is very easy to talk to, and I find him very attractive. However, he has, or did have earlier in the year, a girlfriend. I'd like to find out if he still has a girlfriend but I don't know if I could handle the rejection, if he has! I feel like I am in limbo at the moment. I get the impression he is strongly interested in me, but I realise that if he still has a girlfriend then he is completely emotionally unavailable. If he does still have a girlfriend, then how do do I go about forgetting about him? I'm finding it hard to put this guy out of my mind. Help!

He'll probably just say "oh yeah" or "I wish" neither response is devastating, the latter is pleasing. Don't just be his friend though...That'll backfire really bad if the girlfriend he might have turns out to be "the one". Just keep your relationship playful but not too close if he does have a girlfriend otherwise swing for the fences! Good Luck!
