Question - (6 May 2012) 1 Answers - (Newest, 9 May 2012)
A female United Kingdom age 30-35, *laudia writes:

So I and this guy were friends, not best friends but just friends when we were kids, we used to play and talk but he also used to kinda like me. When I found out he likes me, I started avoiding him, stop talking to him because I was very scared and shy. He didn't know I like him too. He was teasing me, tried to be closer to me but then he understood that I rejected him, so he stopped talking to me too. Then I moved away and we never communicate again. Later, after 8 years I found him on facebook and added him. Firstly he didn't recognize me but when I reminded him who I am he deleted me after 3 minutes! I didn't understand what happened so I sent him a message but he didn't respond it. I know I wasn't very good child but does he really hate me like this now? Or he never really felt anything to me? I don't really understand. He just deleted me off facebook but didn't block me or anything... And sorry for my english.

aunt honesty agony auntYou where both children at the time when all of this happened so it should not matter now that you have both growing up. I guess though that he did feel rejected back then and now he has growing up he just does not want to be in contact with you, whatever his reasons are for that. I know it is hurtful when you find out someone does not want to talk to you or be friends with you but I guess you just need to accept his decision.
