a lot of discomfort in the inner vagina, discomfort urinating, whitish discharge from vagina, and or cottoge cheese like drainage.
a yeast infection usually doesnt go away on its own, so u can go to the doctor to get a RX or u can go to a drug store and get the appropriate creams which the pharmacist can help u with.
as for prevention. -do not douche because it gets rid of ur normal flora that helps to protect ur body from invading bacteris- always urinate after sexual intercorse- antibiodics cause yeast infections in a lot of women, so be careful with antibiodics.-change ur undearwear daily, -change femanine napkins regualrly,-keep ur vagina clean with soap and water while bathing (outer not inner)
hope this helps
