A lot of women I have heard like a man who is strong but sensitive. I have the sensitive part but I don't know what it means when they want someone who is strong (not physically). can anyone help and tell me what women mean by strong (like I said not physically)?

A reader, anonymous, writes (30 July 2006):

It means a guy who has his own mind, his own values, and ways. A man who is decisive, knows what he wants, and probably knows how to get what he wants. Someone who is stable, flexible, and sensitive to his companion's needs and desires. Someone who has his own hobbies, his own life, and still has space for his lover.

Also, it would incorporate physical strength. It gives the partner the security in feeling that the bf can keep her safe. Imagine that eh?
