Witty means being funny in a clever way. But people who think they are witty are often just unkind - making sneering remarks about other people for example. I wouldn't try to be witty just to please her - acting a part is never convincing.

Witty is just another word for being funny or comical, it means a person has a natural flair for humour and can make amusing remarks with ease. By being tender, she means she wants you to be gentle with her, possibly affectionate, like holding hands and perhaps paying her a nice compliment about how she looks. Girls can be very emotional and also quite moody but they respond well to thoughtful gestures and anything that makes them feel special or wanted.
