What does this mean? Could he be interested in me?

Question - (1 July 2010) 4 Answers - (Newest, 4 July 2010)
A female Canada age 30-35, anonymous writes:

ever since moving to a new town, 4 months ago, i have liked the looks of this guy, we'll call him J ... up until this point it was an entirely lustful "like" because it was purely based on appearance.

recently i've had the opportunity to get to know him, and not only is he gorgeous, he is a genuinely sweet guy!

the first few times we hung out he was pretty normal, trying to be nice sorta thing. the last time i was with him was last weekend, and things sort of... changed?!

he offered me his chair and he sat on the ground.

he was pretending to be "bugs" on the back of my leg, tickling me.

when everyone else would be talking and i wasn't he'd come over and start a random conversation with me.

the group we were with walked to the store, somehow me and him ended up 40+ feet in front of everyone else (2 or 3 times this happened) and we didn't even realize because we were so deep in conversation.

he also always ended up walking beside me when we were in the group.

when he talks, even if it's to someone else, he always keeps eye contact with me longest.

he was going off to do something, threw his phone onto the ground and walked over to do it. he had his hands in his pockets, came back and handed me his sun glasses, looked me in the eyes and smiled, then walked back over and continued what he was doing.

i took all these things as flirting, but i wasn't really sure; i've never been good around guys (decoding their actions etc).

then tonight he came back to my house with my older brother (who had to grab something). J and some other guy waited outside for approx 5 mins while my brother was doing whatever; then my dog started to bark, i told her to be quiet... a few seconds later J came in the house (i'm assuming he heard me and came it). he looks right over at me, smiles, says "hey". i say hi back shyly before my brother comes out. J asks for a drink (which i found weird because he was JUST at his own house, which it only a block away from ours). he drinks it really slowly; when he's done he claps his hand to his head and complains of "brain freeze" then looks around the corner at me to see my reaction, of course i was laughing. the juice had been on the counter and i knew for a fact it was around room temperature lol.

what does this all mean;... could he be interested in me? I'm not usually the type guys pay attention to, which is why i find this all pretty odd. he could have any girl he wanted, and he chooses to pay attention to me?!

he makes me really happy, i'ver never had this kind of attention from any other guy...

What do you all think?? =)

Q is right he does sound dreamy. Yes I think you could rest assured that he is interested in you. Don't forget to give him lots of smiles. I agree with eyes, if he doesn't ask you out then ask him.

eyeswideopen agony auntI think he likes you. If he doesn't ask you out pretty soon, then if I were you, I'd ask him if he'd like to go out for ice cream or coffee.
