A female United Kingdom age 36-40, anonymous writes:

hi there everyone. me and my boyfriend have been together for about 8 months and everything was goin well,we argued from time to time but nothing major.he now says that he wants us to go on a break though, which really shocked me. he said i'm his world and he loves me to bits but he just wants time to himself. i've found this hard to accept and keep asking him to explain why. he says he just feels like he never has time to himself and feels its all a bit intense. i asked him whether he wants to see other people and he said he didn;t. I'm just so confused, is it normal for men to want breaks from time to time?
