I don't blame other people for getting more casual about it. Some people even reduce it to basically just an indoor sport among friends. That's fine as long as they're protected.
But that is not how I choose to live. And I am only interested in having romantic relationships with women who feel the same.

 I share the same view with Sincerely Yours. I cannot imagine sex with someone I don't love. I have tried that with my boyfriend before whom I didn't love that time and everytime we do it, I feel used and have thoughts of just disappearing from him. I never want to see him again after we do it. But he was so into me, he would just stare at me for hours. Sometimes when he notices I don't like to have sex, he would just hug me and cuddle with me and tell me he doesn't mind if I don't like to have sex.But eventually, I fell in love with him. And every time we make love, it is something very BIG deal to me. It is like a part of me goes to him. I also think I fell in love with him because of these activities.But now that we are over. If I imagine myself doing it with another guy even for fun or to just respond to my needs, I don't think I will. Never again will I have sex with anyone I don't love...it is really awful. So next time I get myself into a relationship, unless I love him..there is no way he can touch me that intimately.

reader, anonymous, writes (22 July 2009): Well just i wouldn't want to be touched in anyway in any area by someone who i didn't have those touchy feely feelings for, i wouldn't want to be kissed by someone i don't care for. And just as i don't want to be kissed by someone i don't care for, i don't want to touch someone else i don' care for. I also don't want to give head, be given head or give a handjob to someone i don't care for.. that said.. i think it's a given that i don't want anyone's penis inside of me who i don't care for. Sex is fun, yes, but to me, only with the right person. it also comes with risks and you should be prepared for those risks in order to be ready to start havign sex. So my decision to only have sex with the man i knew i was going to marry was wise, since i got pregnant from it. Luckily, we were engaged but had it been "jsut for fun" with a short term boyfriend and the condom broke.. there would've been major problems.
during sex, the man is INSIDE of you.. to me.. that.. i don't know.. means something.. and shoudl be special.. I am always making love.
