My ex broke up with me several months ago, after several weeks apart he came back and said he wants to work at the relationship, he really missed me and loves me. After a great two weeks together, out of the blue he said seeing me confuses him.. and that he wants to be single right now. I was gutted!

He said he needs space and thinks changing gym would be best, he would get in touch with me. I respected this and took a week off the gym for myself, i then get texts/ calls asking why i missed the gym and will i be going next week. I really do not understand what he wants from me. He knows i want to be with him!

When i saw him at the gym, he was a little cold and couldn't look at me for long when talking, which is really unusual.

Any advice would be really appreciated, i want to hang around for a bit more, i have a gut feeling in the end it will be ok.

Boonridge McPhalify agony auntthis behaviour will chip away at your self esteem and leave you with more baggage to carry than mariah carey's minders.

he gets you to open up and then cuts you dead, repeatedly. how long until you lose the ability to open up completely and this puppeteer has decided he has tired of abusing your heart and moves on to his next victim.

this person sounds not confused to me, just plain old nasty. if you want to be a victim continue to bite on his bait every time he gets "confused" or treat yourself with the respect you deserve and think of you longterm goals while ignoring this person until they act like an adult (as opposed to a four year old brat).

good luck

Your guy sounds strange,he wants you for a while then he lets you go just to repeat the whole thing over again. Then top it off he gives you the cold shoulder at the gym when he wanted to see you there, as he indicated in his text. He seems kind of odd. Ask him why he's missleading you? How did he feel confused of being with you? Tell him you want to be in a steady r/ship and not something thats on and off again, your seriouse about your r/ship, is he? He seems unsure about your r/ship.
