We ended up meeting up and he said "I knew when you gave me your number we'd connected"..However, he promised to meet up again with me and I'm still waiting (although I know he is busy with his own life)so why would he say such a thing if he may not feel connected at all?? It's too bad we all have to play these stupid games these days, isnt it. I would just give him a call if you have his number, and say hi. Good Luck.

Basicall, as I understand the phrase, it means that he knew you liked him, and the evidence is in that you actually gave him your number. SOme guys wait a few days or so before calling a girl, but yes, if he gave you his number, then sure give him a call and say hello, not expecting..friendly...

 wait just a little longer. if not, presuming you have his number, give him a call, just to check his still alive. and guys sometime say that kind of thing, just to make girls melt. don't take it to serious, and don't take it too lightly. it can mean he likes you...
