Is it something about my personality? Reply to this Question Share |

If a guy calls you addictive it's not about YOU, it's about him. You like being compared to crack? cocaine? gambling? any other vice?
And using words like "unfamiliar, rare, different and ambiguous." is a way to make you believe they see you as something special. And because it WORKS! You dated the guys who pulled these lines on you, didn't you?
We all like to think we are a bit unique, and not some "basic beige chick".
Reality is that they don't KNOW you at first so these LOVELY adjectives are used to flatter your ego. Sometimes it works.. sometimes it doesn't.
Though... being called ambiguous... I don't really see the .... compliment there.

My best guess to why they think like that, is your indifference to them makes you a challenge to overcome and so they are probably in it mostly for, as you say, the chase.
Not sure if it has anything to do with your personality, though you might want to look into why you're attracted to these type of guys.
