me and this guy have been on and off and he always said he cared about me, wants to be with me. but one time i was realy frustrated and hurt by his lack of seeing me and i asked him to just tell me he liked me, he liked sleeping with me but he didnt care about me romanticly he said i cant say that and i told him but if its true i need to hear it and he said it is but.. and i stated to cry. he looked sad and confused and whiped my tears and kept pulling my face up to see me when i burried my head in his shoulder because i hate crying in front of people. does it mean anything when guys do that? like watch you cry.. ?

A female reader, Tisha-1 United States +, writes (17 July 2011):

Tisha-1 agony auntAre you in a relationship with him beyond FWB? I'd say he felt badly you were crying and did his clumsy best to make you stop crying.

If you are unhappy with his level of interest in you, rather than try to guilt him into seeing you more, empower yourself, stop seeing him and put yourself back on the dating market. If he wants to be with you and commit to you, he should step up and begin a proper courtship.

If you are only a FWB to him, he will let you go.

I think you may be clutching at straws, reading big meaning into little things. What you should examine is his overall behavior and actions, not how he dries your wet eyes.
