writes:Hi, I am 24 years old and never had a girlfriend before. I just had a question, sometimes when I'm out I see girls smile at me when they see me. Like this one time I was out running at the park and I made eye contact with a girl while we were running on opposite sides then she looked at me and smiled. And then this other time I was at the store and a girl shyly smiled at me.Usually when this happens I look away or pretend that I didn't see it, because I find girls to be really intimidating lol! So does this mean anything or is this just how girls are to strangers? Or am I just being paranoid?

 They like you. So they smile. If you like them back you smile back. Smiling is the very basic and classic form of flirtation.
Could be of course they just smile to be polite, but if it is not in one of those occasions where you expect people to smile then most likely it's them wanting to tell you that they like what they see.

Girls BTW put their pantyhose on sitting down hon... they are just people... they are as scared of boys as you are of girls.
oh and at 22-25 they should be referred to as women... you're too old to be dating girls.... :-)

When I see a cute guy I smile even bigger, but it really depends on the person.With me and my girlfriends, when we see a guy running, all sweaty and what not, we smile because it is so damn hot to see that. In some cases its just a way to appreciate the man. Honestly, it is a complicated thing to decipher. Be confident and just accept the smiles.
