A female South Africa age 41-50, anonymous writes:

I'm not a jelous person and i've never been, until recently - we went to watch the soccer with friends and i wasn't feeling gr8 so i went to lie down, when i woke up i went to the bar got a drink and danced a bit then the party i was with wanted to go home - on exiting the venue my husband was not aware i was watching him and he grab this blonde woman as if they REALLY got to know each other while i was sleeping by her shoulder and gave her a look that has my heart in a million pieces when i think about it, when he saw i was watching him he went 6 shades of white - the next day i asked him what i'd miss and who she was and he continuously changed the subject and he said that he was dancing with his friend the whole time that's all but after pushing a while the truth started coming out bit by bit - I want to know, his never had any reason to lie to me why would he start now (unless his intentions are otherwise). What does it mean for me that my husband is lying about another woman?

A female reader, followtheblackrabbit Cayman Islands +, writes (17 June 2010):

followtheblackrabbit agony auntThis is a definite red flag, hon. If your husband feels he has to lie, theres something going on. I'm not going to say that he's cheating right off (he truly may not be) but it's clear that he may have a strong attraction to this other woman and may have flirted too heavily with her. Still, keep an eye on this, keep watch on other changes in his behavior. Don't be accusing or paranoid, but simply observe and trust your instincts. All the best.
