A male reader, anonymous, writes (22 November 2009):

You're in Canada so the phrase is an odd sentence construction. If she meant it as an overt sex proposal she would have said, "I lust FOR you" but since she didn't you may have heard "lust" but she said "lost".

Perhaps, you were single and she wanted you but since things have changed and she has recognized the fact that you are taken.

A female reader, Emilysanswers United Kingdom +, writes (22 November 2009):

It means she could see herself having some crazy wild nights with you but doesn't really see you as boyfriend material.

Some guys you get crushes on but you know they would annoy the hell out of you if you had to be stuck in a relationship with them.

What to do now is up to you.

If you like her as more than a friend though, it may be better to keep your distance so you don't get hurt when she finds a guy she really likes and drops you like a stone.

Good Luck!! xx

A reader, anonymous, writes (22 November 2009):

Lust is a term that means a strong sexual attraction, a lot of people confuse Lust and Love because in the heat of a moment Lust can feel a lot like Love, but theres a big difference in between loving someone, and just wanting to have sex with someone, hope this helps clarify

Aunty BimBim agony auntshe wants to do lustful things with you

it could almost be viewed as an invitation to hanky panky, unless she was pulling your leg to see what your reaction was.

I would play a waiting game for a while and see what transpires .... if she was kidding around because she suspected you would be confused she will try it again, and if she genuinely was lusting I should imagine she'll give that another go as well
