writes:I REALLY like this older girl shes 17 n im 16 yet we were really close friends a year ago for about a year. But we havent talk since I kissed her. When we see each other in school n we are both alone she smiles at me sometimes says hello. But if Im having a laugh with mates she gives me eye contact but looks as though she is going to cry. But when she is with her mates she ignores me, gives me a dirty look n laughs with her friends. Why does she do this? It is like a split personality ! Does she like me?  Wake up and smell the toast. If you’re interested in this girl as much as you say why don’t you ask her out? What happened when you kissed her...did it end after you kissed her? But you say you were good friends with her for a year?
IF I'm reading this right, she put you in the category of friend and not in the potential lover category. If the kiss is what ended it, that’s what happened. She freaked out because she didn’t consider you that way, like kissing her brother. Otherwise you two would still be close if not closer.
If you want to be in that lover category it might be too late. At this point you have nothing to lose. But be assertive, and ask her out. How hard can that be when you already know her? Go to a movie with her put yourself in the place where you can try to kiss her again. For God's sake just kiss her. If she refuses, it was not meant to be and move on
