What the heck is that to mean? "not at this time?" Then the next time I saw hime after my heart being crushed he starts calling out hello to me I'm confused. What is not at this time? Like he expects me to wait around or something cuz he knows I cared for him so much??

reader, anonymous, writes (9 December 2011): I would have taken not at this time, to mean that he isn't interested. I would be confused too. Maybe he said it in the heat of an argument, and didn't really mean it. If he does it again, just tell him honestly that he said not at this moment to your question and that you took it to mean he didn't want to know you. I'd also tell him just because you care about him doesn't mean you will wait around for him.
