My mums a career women and she had her first child at the age of 26, I think thats the average age of having children of a person of your position in life.
A

I think each case is individual. Both my sisters had their first kid when they were 19 years old. I personally think that is too young because you have not lived, nor have you any career. But that is just a personal opinion. I am sure there are MANY who disagree with me.
I am 32 just now and my boyfriend and I are contemplating marriage in order to have a family. He has just turned 42.
I think it is more accepted that woman want kids at an older age now days, but there are a lot who want kids young.
I think so long as you have your head screwed on right, are financially stable and in a loving relationship, it doesnt matter what your age.

I had my first child when I was 28; career established, well settled; comfortable and looking forward to bring some "pitter patter" into our lives.
BUT as mentioned, it varies and depends on the individual; circumstances etc.
Only you will know!
Good luck and enjoy them when they are there!
