reader, anonymous, writes (6 May 2009): Ah we all seem to want what we can't have. At least you have found out straight away and she hasn't wasted your time. I once read in a book that if a cat doesn't catch a bird it doesn't waste time feeling sorry for itself, it goes after another one. Sounds flippant maybe, but you will get over her and interested in someone else sooner than you know it.
